Report Shows Increase in 10-Year Survival Rate for Malignant Melanoma

Increase may be a result of early diagnosis and advances in treatment options

According to a Cancer Research UK report, the 10-year survival rate for malignant melanoma has increased to 80% for men and 90% for women. Forty years ago, the 10-year survival rates for malignant melanoma were only 38% for men and 58% for women.
